Ramon & I actually didn’t start riding together (me always on the back, 2up) until 1993. Ramon bought a 1100 Honda Shadow that we put some 40,000 miles on that great little bike. We vacationed for 10 years by motorcycle. Our rules (yes we had rules) were No Interstates, state and county roads only, if we hit a “T” in the road, we would turn left for gas or turn right for food. We found the greatest little towns by this method. It truly was the journey not the destination, heck we never knew where we going anyway. The first 8 years of these travels we always took our tent and sleeping bags, but Ramon got very grumpy if he didn’t have food at the campsite, besides he was getting a little old crawling in and out of that tent, so we moved up to motels. Three and half years ago, we entered the profession of Realtors were able to join the Park City Motorcycle Club. We love it. There are really three reasons we really enjoy the club. First, it doesn’t matter what type of bike you ride and the riders are from every walk of life Second on the multi-day rides there is absolutely no pressure to “keep up” with the faster riders. And third, the getting to know all these cool people has been very enjoyable for us.
